The CCJO, together with the Shoresh Charitable Trust commissioned a book by Professor Anne Bayefsky entitled How to Complain to the UN Human Rights Treaty System. The book was published in 2002 as a hardback by Kluwer Law International, and as a paperback by Transnational Publishers. The CCJO also sponsored a website, jointly with the Ford Foundation and the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which contains the material in this book in an interactive form.

The CCJO, together with the Shoresh Charitable Trust commissioned a collection of essays entitled Racism and Human Rights published in 2004 by Martinus Nijhoff Publishers.

In 2006 'For the Sake of Humanity: Essays in Honour of Clemens N. Nathan' was published by Martinus Nijhoff Publishers.
